The Old Chequers Inn is a charming country inn and is said to be the oldest pub in Lincolnshire! It once served as a jail and ‘hosted’ prisoners from Lincoln jail prior to their departure to an uncertain fate overseas. Fortunately for today’s guests there’s a much warmer welcome in store! The Inn is surrounded by rolling Lincolnshire countryside and overlooks Lymn brook. It’s certainly a pretty spot to enjoy a drink or a pub meal. In the colder months there are two roaring open fires to welcome you. The pub is dog friendly too, so feel free to bring your well-behaved pets along.

We have recently installed a Brand-New Jura WE8, Cool Control and Cup Warmer to The Old Chequers Inn on behalf of Batemans Brewery! The machine is great for light commercial outfits using approx. 30 cups per day. With a tank capacity of 3 litres, a bean container holding 500g of coffee and a coffee grounds chute for decaf, this machine is ideal for those low usage sites who still want to provide speciality coffee. The one touch function creates the like of latte macchiato, flat white and cappuccino’s and up to 12 different speciality drinks. The Pulse Extraction Process developed by Jura optimises the extraction time. This machine is a little gem and very user friendly.

The Jura Cool Control keeps the milk at the right temperature for an extended period so that the life span of the milk is not only prolonged but also kept at a perfect temperature without freezing at any point. The Jura Cup Warmer is the perfect companion for your coffee machine as coffee always tastes its best when served hot. That’s why all professionals work with correctly pre-warmed cups as a matter of principle. If hot coffee is poured into cold porcelain cups, a lot of heat is lost – if you’re noticing your drinks are becoming cold too quickly, this could be your solution!

To fill their coffee machine, The Old Chequers Inn have chosen to use our Caffe Espresso Gourmet Beans. All our ingredients are compatible with the machines we supply, and our trained engineers will have set the machines up according to the desired products ensuring Simply, great coffee every time. We also provide all the cleaning products and advise or train our customers how and when to use them.

We stock a fantastic variety of bean to cup coffee machines that are ideal for making the perfect barista style coffee. Our range includes large dual canister machines that can be used for both coffee beans and instant ingredients as well as smaller machines that are ideal for light commercial outfits who simply want to make great tasting coffee.
